And although we've been in touch since then — largely thanks to social media — it would require the whole ten years before we got to meet up again in person for only the second time, although we live only a 30-minute MTA commute from each other. It turned out to be an awesome time of dinner at hot pizza spot Paulie Gee's, a tour of Franklin Avenue, and an impromptu photoshoot at nearby WNYC Transmitter Park with a pier overlooking the east river
Cindy Being WishfulHarlem, NYCMy dear friend Cindy agreed to join me for a night of musical theater up at the Apollo Theater in harlem, but not before we stopped into Harlem Shake for her to try my (limited) signature grilled macaroni & cheese sandwich—which she loved!—and getting a picture of her in front of the lit Christmas wreath decorating the outside of the restaurant. (Looks like she's trying to convince Santa that she's been a good girl!)
