This morning I had the occasion to attend the Good Morning, America Concert Series performance of Popular performer, Sia. I'm As big a fan, if not more, than the many avid fans in attendance and wearing her now signature black and white wig.

As this was more of a media event than a music event, in attendance were of course some of the GMA anchors, including the naturally amiable Lara Spencer, and a special appearance by Zachary Quinto, of course putting a plug in for the Star Trek: Beyond film he stars in that also happened to be opening the same day.

But the star of the morning of course was Sia herself, who didn't disappoint her fans, performing three of her hit songs and engaging enthusiastically with the grateful crowd, some who had been in the park since the night before.

Sure, personally I would have personally preferred to have spent those two hours listening to her perform, and not spend most of the time waiting for TV show breaks and repeated crowd-rousing. But what I roused crowd they were. And with the weather still being on the cooler side of that day's expected 97°, it still made for an invigorating way to start the day.
